Van man and sidekick

I love the chance to sit in Uncle's  van

after all, I need driver training instruction

although I like the back of the van too as there is plenty of space
for me and the tangerine terror.....

We had a great time yesterday on the beach

....except a certain little orange dog tried to beat me up!

We always sound this ferocious,

but it's all part of the game.

My little buddy is back for a visit

...but first we went to collect him.  Then dad suggested a walk at Fingle Glen...

I love this place as I get to stand in a very large drinking bowl - and me and Hamish had a great time in the river

best part was stopping to fish...

I didn't catch anything though....shame that

Perhaps lunch will appear on a plate

Well a lad can only hope.

Brave

Now look

I'm being Very brave.

Dad suggested Counting Sheep -

I think he wanted to take my mind off the scary woolly monsters -
that turned out should all be called Shaun,
the sheep barber had obviously visited them.

They are obviously impressed with my coat

Okay, dad...that one is looking at me

but I can pretend it isn't there

Phew!  Another dangerous mission dealt with.

My walk with dad at Berrington Hall

PART TWO....

Onward with my walk with dad.  I bet you thought, after yesterday's blog post, that you were going to see ducks, but NO, instead we saw a crowd of cows (thankfully they were behind a fence).   They seemed very interested in me - did they think they would sneak up on me,  Ha!  I spotted them...and kept an eye on them...

and then this lot wanted to see me.  I felt a bit famous actually, perhaps they had herd of me (there's a joke there if you think about it)...

You can tell I'm not too worried about them, especially having that fence between us.

And I was fine with the walk back to meet mum at Berrington Hall,

except

that is

for the

SHEEP

There was NO Fence between us

and one particular ewe and lamb wanting to see me - Close up!

 NO THANKS

I pulled dad away and back to mum

Phew! that was close.

Perhaps the other sheep thought I was in this parked car...

They were wrong,
we were parked well away from those woolly monsters.

My adventure at Berrington Hall

Mum has done a blog post already about Berrington Hall (see it here if you haven't already).

by the way, you can scroll this map thing-a-me-jig which will show you the google pictures...but meanwhile....

I thought it would be nice for you to see the trip from my view  - I took dad along for the walk around the grounds.

Actually, as there are a few photos from this walk, I will get mum (my Secretary, or so she calls herself) to do a couple of blog posts about it, otherwise you will be yawning your way through the pictures....

So here it is - PART ONE...

that's the Hall in the distance - mum was looking around there whilst dad and I were having our adventure

not sure what this animal is..

but these sheep knew how to keep cool, in the shade of this huge tree
- personally I think it is time for them to meet the sheep shearer,
but then who am I to talk -

Then we got to the Lake,
where we could have sat a while.

but we decided to walk on - mum would be waiting for us

Dad wanted to get a good picture of the lake and the reflections...but I kept getting in the way
(look closely you will see me)

Ha...each time dad clicked the camera, I crept into the picture...(I love doing that to him)

finally he outwitted me (which is a difficult thing to do I can tell you)

I was having a nice rest and sitting so good...

but I got a little distracted - ducks!

~ You'll have to wait for the next blog post
for more of this adventure ~
(but don't fret, the ducks were safe).

Message for Hamish....

"Hey Hamish, you have gone back to your house,
but I'm having so much fun digging - shame you're missing out"

14 Jun 2016

Hamish came to visit over the weekend

...and we had so much fun on the beach

12 Jun 2016

I decided not to talk to this chap

He was much too wooden

and so was his dog

11 Jun 2016

Look, it's me and dad enjoying some quiet time...

....resting under this lovely tree
on what had turned out to be a very hot day....

HA....AND I GOT THE HAT

THANKS DAD
