A day along the coast and the air con on

Had a good day in Exmouth today...we went to Sidmouth along the coast and, as the weather decided to warm up, I put the air con on in the back of the car!   For some reason mum, dad and Auntie thought that was funny....

Man van and ME

Look...Uncle just got a new van and I got to sit in the front with him.  True we didn't drive anywhere, but at least I got to sound the horn!   (Oops sorry Uncle, my paw slipped)!

Back on the beach near our Hotel

Where I AM allowed to play....

I tried so hard to keep dad on the beach...

Dad mentioned leaving the beach......Umm I'll ignore him!

Now excuse me, I have an important meeting over there...

My adventure walk with dad

We've been on a mini holiday again and ended up at a beach - Harlyn Bay near Padstow.  Yes, we have been there before and I REMEMBERED IT...Yay, I thought, the beach!!!

During our stay dad took me for a walk from Harlyn Bay along the coast to Trevone Beach -
(we left mum at the hotel to do some sketching, it keeps her happy).

Harlyn Bay

dad took some pics....

Along the coast

That's a very very deep hole down to the sea!!!

Don't worry, we were very careful.

That's Trevone beach where the houses are

But first we had to divert around the path

there had been some land slippage...can you see that gap happening across the grass

the level of that area had dropped!

But undeterred we kept going and eventually reached Trevone

There was just one Small Tiny Flaw in dad's plan....

Yes, after all that walking...

IT TURNED OUT TO BE A

NO DOGS BEACH!

So we walked all the way back again to Harlyn Bay....good adventure though -

THANK  YOU
DAD

Me and dad heading across to read this sign....

Some might say we are just plain nosy

You would be right, we both wanted to see what it read.

Yay...Look how clever I am...

...I kept bringing the stick back for dad to throw it for me,
so I could bring it back again

and again!

Visiting Hamish

I have just spent a couple of days visiting my little friend Hamish.  We had lots of fun and walks, plus rounded off the visit with an enjoyable time in Hamish's garden....

Mum took some pictures of me the other day....

...and somehow turned them into a 15 sec. video.

I have no idea how she did that but then, neither does mum -

 must have been sheer luck!

I read the sign!

this is it closer for you to see :

but not to worry
do you see in the first picture, where the stream is running down to the ocean -
from that point onward dogs can play (well, partly on a lead for a short distance)
but mostly it's 2.5 miles of glorious sand and fun.

Best enjoyed with a friend
