Meeting some very different friends

My donkey friends,

who are always ready to step up to the fence

and say Hi to me...

Are we going to say Hello little brown donkey?

Yes, of course we are

And across the field there was a large

drawing of a donkey....

"So clever"  I heard mum say.

I love car travel....

....but oh how I LOVE to ride on a bus.

We went into town on the Park & Ride recently 

and I made sure I sat in the middle of the aisle in everyone's way!

 Mum and dad were a bit put out though - although they can travel for free using their

Old People's Bus passes, they had to pay for ME  haha

 

 But then I rather liked having my very own TICKET.

(I did hear grumblings from dad that I would have to run

behind the bus next time....Na! he loves me too much to make me do that)

Pebbles!! They expect me to walk on Pebbles!

Sorry, but this is so not what I expect from the beach.

Another new friend

...but I keep the tennis ball!

I do love a good stick to play with

Okay, so perhaps this was a little too big!

The day I met goats and those small kangaroo things....

Amazing what you come across on a simple walk.

A BIG Wire fence

and behind it were these things....

Mum said they were called Wallabies...

I thought she said Wannabes, but she was insistent - I'm not convinced

and these things with HORNS!

and this one still waiting for it's horns...

They smelt weird....

Mum explained they would smell a whole lot worse in August

and the smell comes from their heads...

No....

I know where the smell came from,

who does mum think she's kiddin'  (pun intended).

Pebbly Beach...

....now that was different...

I found it slightly harsh on my poor paws...

but it was a nice place to stop on our recent trip....

and Look my ears are free from burs!

Ahhh, I do love the sea air.

Ear trouble!

I had a little bit of a problem with my ears the other day.  Dad thought I was holding my ears back on purpose, but mum soon realised that my ears were STUCK TOGETHER with BURS (click link).
